UAE authorities warn residents about increased heat

The UAE authorities issued for residents of the country rules of conduct at temperatures above + 47ºC.

Dubai, UAE. The Ministry of Health of the United Arab Emirates issued a warning to residents of the country about increasing daytime outdoor temperatures to + 50ºC and prepared a memo on the rules of conduct in the summer heat.

First of all, it is recommended to remove any gaseous substances from cars, including soft drinks, lighters, deodorants and batteries, as well as open the windows to prevent overheating of the passenger compartment. In addition, it is recommended that you do not fill up a full tank of gasoline, do not order tires to the limit and refuel the car only in the evenings.

You should also beware of scorpions and snakes, do not leave water heaters turned on, and gas cylinders under the sun, limit the energy consumption and power of air conditioners, especially during peak hours.

The Ministry draws attention to that in the summer heat you need to drink more water and not be in the sun from 10.00 to 15.00, wear light clothing made from natural fabrics, and also leave water on the street for birds and homeless animals.
