So what! Last year, too, it was summer. ... Although it so quickly rushed through, slipped away, disappeared into the autumn rains, that there was not even a trace of the memories. Just a bunch of funny photos in the album - thanks to the digital camera! ... And all this made me think that, it turns out, summer is a summer of strife, and that every summer in our life is bright, interesting and memorable in its own way! And this means that you can’t just take this summer and throw it into the wind - this is also unusual because the holy month of Ramadan returned to the East, after many years, in its summer cycle, making a full circle on the lunar calendar, which is translated from Arabic means "hot." And also because the summer, which began with the famous June white nights in St. Petersburg, and with someone from the longest lunar eclipse or planet parade, is ready to give us all another two months of sun and long daylight hours, unusual discoveries and new meetings stunning travels and romantic evenings. Only in summer are the darkest and starry nights. Only in summer are numerous festivals, concerts and carnivals held in the open. And the phrase is somehow correct - "under the open sky"! This means that the sky does not hide from us in clouds and does not pour dull rains on the heads of unfortunate passers-by, but reveals to us all its blue and infinity! It allows you to fly wherever and whenever you want! Well, honestly, it’s a sin not to use it!
So it is! I don’t know what you planned for yourself there, but I collect my suitcase and fly away. For a while, you won’t get bored. But I promise to bring with me a lot of new impressions and stories that will help capture all the events and joys of this summer on paper - in articles, chronicles and photographs. I believe that it is better to hurry, because THIS SUMMER, even dusty and hot in the Emirate, every day, hour, minute or second, alas, is “not subject to exchange and return!”
Until. I'm leaving in the summer. Until the fall ...
Sincerely, Elena Olkhovskaya
