President of Kazakhstan met with Crown Prince Abu Dhabi

In the capital of the United Arab Emirates, a regular meeting was held between the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates, on Wednesday received President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in his country on an official visit.

They discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral relations in the investment, economic and cultural spheres, as well as recent regional and international events.

The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Mansur bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Tahnun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and other senior officials.

After the meeting, the Director General of Prime Development Consultancy Valid Salman and Deputy Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Maazum Merzagalyev signed a preliminary agreement on cooperation in the field of energy and industry.

The meeting and the ceremony of signing the memorandum were attended by State Minister of Foreign Affairs Anwar Mohammad Gargash, State Minister Ahmad Sultan al-Jaber and the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the UAE, Madiyar Menilbekov.

During the meeting, Nursultan Nazarbayev specifically mentioned and praised the Special Olympic Games of 2019, taking place these days in the UAE, which are rightfully considered one of the largest international sports, cultural and humanitarian events.
