Emirate satellite sent the first photo to Earth

The Emirate satellite sent to Earth the first photo of the alluvial island of The Palm Jumeirah.

Dubai, UAE. The Emirate satellite KhalifatSat, launched into orbit on October 29, sent the first photo to the Earth - the alluvial island of The Palm Jumeirah. The photo was first posted on social networks by Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, head of the Protocol and Hospitality Service of the Dubai Government.

It is expected that the satellite will send high-resolution Earth photographs to the control station, in the multispectral range - 0.7 m. In particular, in the near future new images of UAE landscapes will be sent to Earth.
