The first hardcover book from a leading French jewelry house displays a poetic vision of watchmaking traditions and the excellence of fine jewelry. To work on the book, House Van Cleef & Arpels brought together world-famous experts in the specialized and high-tech field of high watchmaking, including Haute Horlogerie Foundation President Franco Cologne and French philosopher Michel Serres. Watches Van Cleef & Arpels, whose poetic complexity has become a hallmark of the brand, are designed to display not only time, but also happy minutes, memorable moments, important events in human life. They recreate the poetry of time, reflecting the fabulous universe of history, love, creation, Van Cleef & Arpels House.
Specially for this event, VCA President Stanislas de Kersiz presented twenty copies of exclusive timepieces inspired by the history of the creation of the famous House, which will soon be presented in Geneva at the International Exhibition of High Watch Art (SIHH 2010). Jewelry house Van Cleef & Arpels also announced that it will be participating in the Art Dubai 2010 art exhibition for the second time, which will be held at Madinat Jumeirah from March 16 to 20.
