The first five-star hotel opens on the artificial archipelago in Dubai

The developer of the Heart of Europe archipelago in Dubai has unveiled plans to launch the first family-owned five-star hotel.

The Kleindienst Group, the builder of the The Heart of Europe alluvial archipelago, part of The World's Dubai project, said it will launch its first hotel in the next 100 days.

It will be located on the island of Main Europe. Hotel Portofino will be the first fully family-owned five-star hotel in the region.

The Heart of Europe team also plans to break the record for the fastest hotel launch ever since construction began. The test opening is scheduled for December.

The Portofino Hotel will have 489 rooms, including the exclusive Adriana villa on the top floor, named after the famous Roman emperor.

A private marina will operate near the hotel. The members of the team with whom the guests will interact will be recruited among Italians. The hotel will operate in the European time zone. Payment will be accepted including in euros.

Portofino Hotel will be equipped with five pools, including a large pool designed specifically for water sports. It will also become a venue for daily shows. Another venue for entertainment will be the Castello Theater.

There are four restaurants and six bars to choose from - they serve organic, Mediterranean dishes that will be a key feature of all 13 hotels at The Heart of Europe.

Kleindienst chairman Joseph Kleindinst said Portofino’s launch will be an important milestone for the entire project: “This is our first hotel and it demonstrates how we will serve each visitor.”

"At Portofino Hotel, we take care of families who will not be distracted by single people, couples or party lovers; we offer a safe and luxurious, secluded place for a perfect family vacation," he said.
