In Dubai, a smart system will look for suspicious baggage at the airport

Dubai’s new “suspicious baggage” detection system will run faster than similar technologies.

New smart technology at Dubai airports now detects suspicious baggage much faster.

Khaled Ahmed Yusuf, the author of a new method for analyzing suitcases and bags containing prohibited items, said that more than 83 million travelers visit Dubai, so all baggage needs to be checked quickly. This requires a simplified baggage check system.

Explaining how the technology works, Yusuf said an electronic chip is placed in the bags to track the contents. It is not indicated how the chip is installed, but it is known that it "self-destructs" after passing through a "smart" output.

The inventor added that the system has reduced operating costs.

“” Smart ”exits reduced the time for checking baggage to a few seconds - in the absence of illegal contents - and also accelerated the process of detecting and seizing illegal items,” he added.
