The concert was attended by ambassadors of a number of CIS countries, Russian Consul General in Dubai Sergey Alekseevich Krasnogor with his wife, representatives of the Russian Embassy in the UAE, heads of the ARS Council and the Russian Diaspora. Spectators and guests were greeted by children in military uniforms of the war years and handed them "St. George" tapes and CDs with songs of the war years. During the concert, songs, dances and poems from the time of the war were performed, documentaries of that time were shown.
The audience was greeted with great warmth by the performances of the Russian Music Center from Sharjah, the Dubai Russian private school, the creative team led by Elena Viktorovna Najib, the instrumental ensemble of guitarists, the choir of the Orthodox parish of St. Apostle Philip, who performed works by Shostakovich, Rachmaninov and other composers.
In the foyer and hall where the concert was held, a large exhibition of works by students of art class by Elena Nikolaevna Glazyrina, the studio of Vasilisa Viktorovna Eliseeva of the Russian Music Center, as well as posters of Elena Viktorovna Najib, drawings by students of the Dubai Russian private school and tapestries by Irina Udalova, was unfolded.
On the same day in Dubai, in the Temple of the Holy Trinity, a service and a memorial service for the fallen soldiers took place.
