Sales in the duty-free shops of AbuDhabi International Airport increased in the first half of this year by 19% compared to the same period last year. The average cost of passengers in Abu Dhabi DutyFree stores also increased during the mentioned period and amounted to 7.2%, which is equivalent to US $ 14.47 per person.
The largest number of sales was recorded in sectors such as perfumes, cosmetics, alcoholic beverages, gold and consumer electronics. In addition, over the indicated period of time, the number of passengers using the capital's airport increased by 11.7%.
