Girl with a character

ABOUT A MAN OF HONEST, SOLID, PERSISTENT AND WITH AN OPEN SOUL OFTEN SAY THAT HE HAS A "SIBERIAN CHARACTER." TATIANA AL AROUD, CHAIRMAN OF THE UNION OF RUSSIAN WOMEN "RUSSIAN", ALL OF THESE IS ROOT SIBERIAN POSSESSES ALL THESE QUALITIES.

So, she was called Tatyana ....

Our heroine was born and raised in Omsk, the largest city in Southwest Siberia. Now, recalling her childhood, she says with a smile that she was probably the busiest child in the city, and her schedule did not have a single day off. Tanya had enough time for everything: for playing sports, and for different circles and sections. After leaving school, she first received a secondary specialized education, and then went to Sochi to study at the Institute of Tourism and Resort Business.

In this sunny city, Tatyana met her fate - Saleh Al Aroud. At that time, he had his own business in the field of tourism, and their company worked with Syria and the UAE. In 2000, the young family moved to Dubai, and there came a new round in their lives. Aviation is what has now become a priority, and together they began work on the formation and formation of the company. Today, years later, it is safe to say that this was the right choice, and now RUS Aviation is a successful airline company.

In 2002, a joyful event occurred in the Al Aroud family - the daughter Darina was born, and two years later the long-awaited son Sami was born. The young mother devoted herself completely to caring for the family and again, as in school years, tried to catch up everywhere.

With children, she attended classes in music, drawing and dancing, tried to captivate them with various sports, of course, this helped the children to decide on their choice of interests.

Darina loves to collect radio-controlled robots from a children's designer and dance “zumba”, and Sami, like a real man, preferred serious training in karate and kung fu, he also loves to play football and is part of the school team (in parallel). Among other activities, Tatyana never forgot about the Russian language, both her children speak Russian very well, they know and love Russian literature.

About creativity and not only

Children grew up, there was a bit of free time. Remembering her previous passion for modeling, Tanya decided to resume her studies and entered two-year courses at the Dubai Art Center. During the training, a whole collection of clay figurines in the style of the Dymkovo toy appeared in their house. I am sure that the creative vein has always lived in her, because her work is so talented that it is impossible to believe that they were created by a person without any special artistic training.

Having lived for a long time in the UAE, Tatyana realized that she could not stay away from public life. Together with her husband, they decided to take part in charity work, and the first step was to help the Sheikh Rashid Center for Children with Disabilities in Dubai (Rashid Center), as well as cooperation with the humanitarian organization World Food Program. Since then, the couple Al Aroud has been constantly involved in various philanthropic and social events.

At the same time, Tatyana never lost touch with her homeland and with her activities she tried to raise the image of her native country. She always with particular feeling took an active part in conducting the "international days" at the school, which her children attended.

Among the parents-Russians there were mothers who supported her, and for these holidays they together prepared the expositions telling about Russia. But, in general, assessing the situation in the United Arab Emirates, Tatyana understood that most of the compatriots living here were disconnected and locked into the problems of only their families. So the idea arose of creating an association that would bring together Russian-speaking women for informal communication and joint holding of various events. An organization within the framework of which it would be possible to implement projects aimed at the social and cultural development of children, as well as contribute to the preservation and development of the Russian language and literature.

Russians, unite!

From a dream to its realization - a long way, but, fortunately, you can always meet like-minded people on it. The ideas began to become reality after the arrival in the UAE of Evgenia Vladimirovna Andreeva, the wife of the Russian ambassador, who began to support and develop this idea with all her might. And on March 8, 2011, it was announced the establishment of a new public organization - the Russian Women’s Association. This union invites into its ranks all Russian-speaking women who are close to the multinational and multifaceted culture of our country.

A year has passed, and now we can summarize the first results. The main thing that was achieved was the official registration of the Russian woman at the Public Development Office of the Government of Dubai and the opening of an office located on the main highway of the city - Sheikh Zayed Road. The women's association also has its own website, where you can always find announcements for upcoming events and reports on past events.

At the same time as the official part, the Rossiyanka association held many different events. The most noticeable and brightest among them were: the contest of children's drawings "Space without Borders"; concert dedicated to the 66th anniversary of the Second World War; International festival of young talents "Dream" ("Dream"); Ambassadorial New Year tree and Shrovetide celebration. Literary festivals dedicated to the works of A. S. Pushkin and K. I. Chukovsky took place. Since the beginning of the school year, free Russian language courses and a section of fitness and gymnastics have opened. It should be noted that the organization’s activities are not concentrated only in Dubai, the residents of Abu Dhabi and other UAE emirates are involved in it.

The members of the association regularly meet at friendly morning tea parties and always invite interesting people - doctors, lawyers, nutritionists, and cosmetologists to share their knowledge and answer any woman's questions. In turn, beauty salons, spa centers, alternative medicine clinics also often organize familiarization programs for "Russians" and talk about their work.

Speaking about plans for the future, Tatyana Al Aroud notes that much remains to be done - to open Arabic language courses for children from international families in the UAE, children's sports sections, needlework mugs, create a library and a video library. She hopes that, together with her friends from the Rossiyanka union, all her ideas will certainly come true.
