The German manufacturer launched the new Mercedes SLS AMG, which received the GT prefix, which means increased performance and impressive maneuverability. The elegant sports car is presented in two body styles - a coupe and a roadster.
Compared to its predecessor, the new GT is equipped with stiffer shock absorbers, adaptive suspension, improved transmission and interior trim. The interior combines the rigor of race cars with luxury and high quality finishes. The sports seats are finished in Alcantara, and the overall black color scheme is emotionally complemented by red seat belts and a stitch of the same color on the seats, panels and rugs. The steering wheel of the updated SLS GT with a comfortable grip is also covered with Alcantara, and its lower spoke is made of metal. The exterior of the German supernova is courageous and sporty. It combines darkened headlights and taillights, as well as brake calipers painted in red lacquer, a radiator grill, exterior mirrors, stiffeners on the hood and an AMG nameplate with additional GT letters.
In 2013 models, the electronically controlled suspension AMG Ride Control Performance Suspension has improved. Comfort mode has been removed, and Sport mode with increased suspension is now recommended for daily driving. At the same time, Sport Plus provides the toughest settings for sports driving on a smooth and even surface. The high-performance V8 engine with a displacement of 6.3 liters and a power of 591 horsepower has a decent torque of 650 Nm. Thanks to the efficient operation of the power unit, the Mercedes-Benz SLS GT accelerates to 100 km / h in 3.7 seconds, and the 200 km / h mark obeys the supercar in just 11.2 s. The seven-speed dual-clutch sports gearbox allows you to control gearshifts by pressing the buttons on the steering wheel.
