HYUNDAI GENESIS 2013 premium sedan

The South Korean manufacturer Hyundai Motor Company has made a small restyling of the rear-wheel drive sedan Hyundai Genesis, revising its engine range and updating its highly intelligent electronics.

Hyundai Genesis came to the Middle East with a 3.8-liter six-cylinder Lambda power unit with direct fuel injection. It has a horsepower of 333 horsepower and a torque of 395 Nm. The engine is equipped with a double variable valve timing system, and thanks to the high compression ratio it is satisfied when driving on the highway with an 8-liter portion of gasoline. A number of improvements touched the technical part of the new model. Thus, the driver’s infotainment complex with a Driver Information System with a 64 GB SSD and an 8-inch display was included in the basic equipment of the car. It has become part of the Blue Link multimedia system, combining security, service and entertainment.

Blue Link can be controlled by voice, and the modern navigation system of the updated sedan will show detailed information about the selected route. If necessary, the navigator will recommend a good restaurant or other establishment to the driver, and the Sirius XM satellite radio is supplemented with weather and stock exchange information reporting functions. If we talk about safety, the new Hyundai Genesis has eight airbags, among which there are front, side and curtain airbags. Active head restraints on impact will maintain neck integrity, and electronic stability control and many other electronic assistants will do everything possible to prevent a collision. Tom Lee, head of Hyundai's Middle East Regional Headquarters, said: “The new Genesis combines the high tech and luxury you would expect from a premium sedan. Driving becomes even more comfortable with higher performance. In 2013 model reflects our philosophy of "Modern Premium", which is appreciated by our customers and automotive experts from around the world. "
