New resort opens on Sir Bani Yas Island in Abu Dhabi

The new five-star Anantara Al Yamm Villa Resort, consisting of 30 villas, opened in July on the island of Sir Bani Yas in Abu Dhabi, on the shores of the Persian Gulf. The design of the villas is reminiscent of the traditional homes of fishermen and pearl hunters fishing in the region. 16 villas have direct access to the sea, another 14 are located in the shade of mangroves, where pink flamingos live.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Stephen Phillips, CEO of Anantara Al Yamm Villa Resort, said: “This place can be called unique due to its geographical location and rich history. We are confident that the new resort will support the image of Sir Bani Yas Island as a destination for a five-star vacation in solitude. "

The resort has an Italian restaurant, Olio, a cafe - lounge and bar. Five more restaurants will open soon. The villas have private pools, large-screen televisions. The villas have been rebuilt taking into account high environmental standards.
