HATEM by Hatem Alakeel. Arabian dandy

DESIGNER OF BRANDS "TOBY" AND "HATEM" AND RECOGNIZED KING KONDUR KHATEM ALYAKIL HAS ALREADY BECOME THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD. HIS CREATIVITY IS IMMEDIATED WITH THE SPIRIT OF ANCIENT ARABIA AND REFLECTS THE TEA AND DESIRE OF MODERN SOCIETY. AND HIS STYLED TRADITIONAL ARAB DRESSES ARE SUCCESSFULLY SOLD IN THE INTERNATIONAL FASHIONABLE MARKET.

Hatem Alyakil hails from Saudi Arabia, but grew between Europe and the USA. And from childhood he loved to dress with taste - a clear idea of how he wants to look helped. Before launching his own Toby clothing line, Alyakil sewed exclusively for himself. He always admired the English dandy style, ties and uniforms of polo players.

Therefore, he wanted to use kondura to create refined and sophisticated images. In addition, Hatem tried to wear kondura at ease - putting on them and sneakers, and classic shoes. Elegant dresses of Alyakil have always been distinguished by their original cut. No wonder that friends of the fashion designer immediately noticed the stylish clothes. Showered orders. Everyone asked to make exactly the same stylish kondura for him. There are not many national menswear designers in the Middle East market. And Alakil understood this very well. So, starting his own business, he tried to bring a fresh stream into the production of traditional Arabic clothing, to modernize the existing way.

The concept proposed by the master was brilliantly simple: to give a chance to local fashionistas to show individuality in the framework of a traditional wardrobe. So the Toby brand appeared. Choosing a name for the future brand, the designer successfully beat the Arabic word "my tob" or "my kondura". The name immediately sounded in a Western manner and attracted more attention. Alakil quickly gained recognition among the international fashion elite. And the experience gained in working with such well-known brands as Mattels, Barbie, Evian, Puma, Toyota, Fairmont, Rosewood and Raffles Group, helped the designer to “polish” his own style.

His creative nature, vision, and dynamic lifestyle are organically conveyed in his elegant models. Already in 2008, the HATEM by Hatem Alakeel debut collection, to which the women's line was added, entered the Dubai market during Fashion Week. Hatem proposed an organic image of a modern woman, while preserving the aesthetics of the Toby style. He reinforced the impression by proposing Christian Louboutin shoes to condura. It is no coincidence that the designer once said that he would like to dress Sheikh Moza, the wife of the ruler of Qatar, whose style can be called a reference in the Arab world. Alakil is a lover of asymmetry, his female condoms are ideal for choosing outfits in Ramadan, for home and business meetings. For example, fashionistas can wear them like tunic shirts and dresses: decorating with a belt, rolling up sleeves and raising collars. Scrupulousness in everything, especially in the details, is a well-thought-out policy of the brand. The result is a concise image that allows ladies to feel comfortable in countries with a hot climate.
