Nissan set another Guinness record

The mega-advertisement with Usain Bolt is one of a series of advertising materials that will be placed at the largest airports in the world as part of Nissan’s global campaign called “What IF_”.

The billboard, installed in terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport, was listed on the Guinness World Records at the airport and was recognized as "the largest illuminated indoor advertising facility in the world." It was estimated that the fastest runner in the world will cross the billboard along in the same time that the Nissan GT-R 2013 model year accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h: in 2.7 seconds.

Commenting on the new achievement, Usain Bolt said: "It is very nice to be part of another world record - I continue to set them, and this is my main task"

Mr. Paul O'Neill, vice president of Guinness World Records, officially recognized Nissan's highlighted indoor advertising as the largest in the world. Mr. O'Neill congratulated Nissan, which was represented by Roel De Vree, Vice President of Global Marketing and Atsuo Kosaka, Nissan CEO in the Middle East, on the presentation of the Guinness World Record Certificate. Representatives of the Dubai International Airport also received congratulations. A special commemorative plaque was handed to His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Department of Civil Aviation and Dubai Airports.
