Beginning designers at the Starch Foundation showed promise by presenting capsule collections to the public, who were enthusiastic about young talents. The most interesting was the airy collection of Timi Hayek Viento y tierra ("Wind and Earth"). Hayek was inspired by her trip to Sri Lanka, where students wear a white uniform due to the hot climate. A real breakthrough of the year was made by the local designer of the same-name clothing brand Madiyah Al Sharqi. The Emirate Princess, daughter of the ruler of Fujairah, presented works in her favorite technique of applying various textures, such as jacquard fabric, crepe and lace, elegantly decorated with crystals. Most likely, Madia's outfits will become a must have of the season.
Lebanese designer Dany Tabet, the protege of famous Russian TV presenter Tatyana Vishnevskaya, made her debut with haute couture evening dresses. The emotional speech of Tabet at the beginning of the fashion show of models, contrary to the traditions of fashion shows, did not leave the audience indifferent. According to him, “the pursuit of power turned everything upside down”, and now the fashion designer displays models wrapped like warm black oil and decorated with golden geometric ornaments. The collection of Indian designer Zareena looked really colorful. 41 outfits, made in the classic codes of the East, once again reminded of its rich heritage.
