Spread the sails

FROM FEBRUARY 28 TO MARCH 4, THE DUBAI INTERNATIONAL MARINE CLUB WILL ALREADY TAKE THE 25TH MOST IMPORTANT MIDDLE EAST EVENT FOR YACHTSMEN AND WATER SPORTS BOATS INTERNATIONAL: DUBA.

Over the past 25 years, the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) has achieved the status of the most important, if not the only event that must be visited not only by billionaires, but also by everyone who is interested in sailing, fishing and diving.

Demand for superyachts in the Middle East continues to grow, and the UAE becomes the world's largest manufacturer of luxury yachts - so it is expected that the 25th DIBS exhibition will be even more impressive than the exhibitions of past years.

Last year 450 yachts and 843 brands from 55 countries gathered at the exhibition. Exclusive tours on luxury superyachts of the world awaited potential buyers. In addition to tours and other entertainments, a series of Marine Talks seminars took place - visitors were able to learn a lot of useful things about the yachting industry and chat in an informal atmosphere with key players in the yachting business. In total, last year the boat show was visited by more than 30 thousand people who spent on the elite superyachts, leisure goods and modern sports equipment 250 million dirhams (68 million dollars).

Analysts unanimously argue that the global yacht industry is doing well. According to the latest statistics from Boat International, 333 superyachts have already been sold in 2016. The most expensive of them cost 953 million dirhams ($ 250 million). And the latest UAE reports predict that the volume of investments in the yachting industry in 2016 should reach 224 billion dirhams ($ 61 billion), which is undoubtedly impressive. By the way, have you thought about investing in yachts?

In addition to the regular program, the Dubai International Boat Show will host a ground-based exhibition of the latest small and medium-sized yachts and boats of any class: from simple pleasure boats to powerful racing ones. Of course, it will be complemented by the traditional exhibition of moored yachts - the latest achievements of the work of engineers and designers.
