Design duo Dolce & Gabbana held its first show in the Middle East in the United Arab Emirates.
In honor of the opening of the Dolce & Gabbana brand boutique at Fashion Avenue in Dubai Mall, the Italian designer duo held their first Middle Eastern show on October 7, 2018 in Dubai.
On this occasion, the "fashionable avenue" of the shopping center has transformed into a typical Italian city with its palette and the smallest details.
The event featured more than 120 international models demonstrating images for men and women from the Day & Night collection. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana created a collection full of contrasts, which includes long, bright evening dresses, and dresses sparkling with emeralds, aquamarines, floral embroidery and Arabic ornaments. Male tuxedos were shown, as well as crowns and hats that turn women into powerful queens.
The boutique, opened in March 2018, is decorated with a recognizable detail - the impressive Sahara marble facade made of black marble, which inimitably shines in the sun. The boutique occupies three floors and was designed by architect Marco Costanzi of MCA Studio, who combined the spirit of Dolce & Gabbana, the atmosphere and warm colors of the Middle East in the new representative office of the fashion brand.
