Belarus and UAE cancel visa regime

Visa-free entry to the United Arab Emirates has now been opened for citizens of the Republic of Belarus.

On June 24, 2019, the ceremony of signing the Protocol on amending the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the United Arab Emirates on the mutual cancellation of visas for holders of diplomatic, official and special passports was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates.

The ceremony was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the United Arab Emirates Andrei Luchenok and Deputy Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates Ahmed al-Jarman.

In accordance with the document, citizens of Belarus - owners of valid national passports - will be able to visit the UAE without a visa. The protocol will enter into force 30 days after its ratification by the parliaments of the two countries.
