For drones in Dubai will open a stadium

Dubai will create a special space for drones.

The Dubai Cricket Stadium could turn into a drone launch center in line with plans for Muhammad Aziz, Airscope's CEO, who partnered with Dubai Sports City to launch the first drone fleet.

“We want to create a complete racing environment, something like a go-kart track,” he said.

As planned, visitors will be able to launch their drones here or rent drones to enjoy the flights.

The project has not yet been approved by the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA), but a tentative launch date is set for next month. It is expected that the project will be launched at full capacity in the fall.

Aziz said: "Racing drones are super fast, very small and hard to manage. Pilots will have glasses like virtual reality devices, so it will be a truly exciting experience."

“We want to reduce the number of illegal flights by attracting enthusiasts to a specially designated place,” he added.
