Careem taxi booking application operator in this Ramadan is partnering with UAE Food Bank. Taxis deliver food free of charge to special refrigerators, which residents donate to those in need.
To call a taxi, you need to select the Food Bank option in the car selection menu and specify your address.
Careem encouraged residents to donate only quality, safe, and carefully packaged food. It is best to share canned goods, juices with a long shelf life, milk, whole fruits and vegetables, bakery products.
The initiative does not apply to Motor City, Silicon Oasis, Khawaneej, Mamzar, Mirdif, Arabian Ranches, Qusais and Nahda districts.
