The world's first moral education exam will appear in the UAE

The United Arab Emirates plans to introduce a test to assess the moral education of students.

UAE authorities plan to be the first in the world to introduce a test to assess moral education throughout the country.

Representatives of the UAE Moral Education Program presented a standardized assessment of moral education during the profile conference, which was held in Abu Dhabi from January 28 to 30.

The test will be introduced in a trial mode in approximately 70 schools in the UAE for 10 thousand students in grades 3, 5, 7 and 9.

Muhammad Al Neaimi, director of the department that oversees the program, noted that the new initiative includes psychometric testing, which determines the degree of understanding of the material by students and the effectiveness of the curriculum.

Instead of measuring individual student performance, the new test conducts a broader assessment, the results of which can be used to compare schools and curricula, determine best practices and find the necessary program improvements.
