Chechnya unveils tourism potential in Dubai

Dubai, UAE. The Chechen Republic presented its tourism potential in the United Arab Emirates. The presentation was held in Dubai, at the Rixos Premium Hotel, as part of the Welcome to Russia workshop.

The event was dedicated to Russia and its most popular tourist destinations. The master class was attended by more than a hundred representatives of tour operators.

Oleg Fomin, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, addressed the meeting with a welcoming speech, assuring him of his readiness to issue as many visas as needed as soon as possible.

The Chechen Republic familiarized the guests with the tourist opportunities of the region, recreation facilities, well-known routes and unique natural and historical monuments that can attract Arab tourists to the republic. Muslim Baitaziev, Minister of Tourism of the Government of the Chechen Republic, confirmed Chechnya’s readiness to receive tourists from Dubai and the United Arab Emirates as a whole, drawing attention to the close ties between the government of the republic and the top leadership of the UAE, as well as the fact that two five-star hotels are operating in Grozny , and most restaurants and other food service establishments comply with Muslim standards in the field of food (halal).

The organizer of the meeting was Space Travel in partnership with Air Arabia, which operates direct flights from Sharjah to Grozny.
