In Dubai, automobile numbers dedicated to Sheikh Zayed, the UAE's founding father, will be auctioned.
Dubai, UAE. Dubai Roads and Transport Committee invites motorists to purchase license plates dedicated to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the first president and founding father of the United Arab Emirates.
These are issues related to important dates in the life and career of a political leader whose centenary is widely celebrated in the United Arab Emirates in 2018. Among them: Z1918 (year of birth of Sheikh Zayed), Z1946 (year of his appointment as representative of the ruler in the Eastern region); Z1968 and Z68 (the year of the first meeting with Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, which spoke about the unification of the emirates); Z1971 (Year of Foundation of the UAE); Z2018 (Year of Zayed).
The auction will be held on November 17, registration of participants will open on November 11. In addition to the above numbers, the committee will also auction other “trendy” numbers, including two-digit and three-digit ones.
