Emirates Cargo Division Improves Pet Transportation
Dubai, UAE. Emirates SkyCargo, the cargo division of Emirates Airline, has enhanced Emirates Pets' comfortable and convenient pet transport service. Among the new services - door-to-door transportation and booking a return flight for pets (for those who take them with them on vacation).
In particular, the carrier entered into an agreement with Snoopy Pets, a company that professionally deals with the international transportation of pets from the UAE. The joint door-to-door pet delivery service is called Emirates Pets Plus. Snoopy Pets prepares all documents, carries out veterinary examinations and delivers animals from airport to airport in 16 countries, including Bahrain, Brazil, Cyprus, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, Spain , Switzerland, UAE and the UK.
As part of the basic Emirates Pets service, animals are transported in more than 160 directions, the documents are drawn up by the owner. Over the past two years, Emirates SkyCargo has transported more than 11 thousand animals, mainly cats and dogs. About 60% of them started or ended their journey to the UAE. More than three thousand animals were sent to the UK. Services are available at Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum Air Terminal.
