300 people became UAE citizens

The United Arab Emirates granted citizenship to 309 children of emirate mothers.

The committee entrusted with the implementation of the instructions of the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, reviewed and approved the list of applicants for citizenship submitted by the Ministry of the Interior at its last meeting.

309 children of emirate mothers received citizenship.

Ahmed Juma Al-Zaabi, the Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs, who chaired the meeting, said the committee’s decision coincided with the celebration of the 46th National Day of the country and reflected the vision of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed to ensure the stability of the country's citizens.

This decision also complies with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on the inclusion of children in society and ensuring their stability.

Al-Zaabi praised the efforts of His Highness Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Al-Zaabi called on new citizens to observe the principles of the state and its constitution and play a sincere and purposeful role on the path to progress and prosperity of the country.
