Dubai authorities have reduced the waiting time for a taxi from 12 to 4 minutes.
Taxi in Dubai is at the customer’s doorstep in less than five minutes from the time of the call, reports the Emirate’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
Dubai authorities said in social networks that the taxi waiting time was reduced from 12 minutes to 4.
RTA initiatives are associated with growing demand from residents.
According to company representatives, in expanding the infrastructure in order to support more vehicles, the best solution was a partnership with Uber and Careem services. This partnership reduced waiting times to four minutes.
