According to weather forecasters, the weather settled in the eastern regions of the country. Particularly intense rainfall has been reported on Dibba-Masafi Road in the Emirate of Fujairah.
Fujairah police temporarily blocked Yabsa Road and urged motorists to use alternative roads.
"Rain clouds today are on Thursday in the eastern and mountainous regions. On Friday and Saturday, we expect more heavy rain not only in the eastern regions, but also in the northern regions, that is, from Ras Al Khaimah to Fujairah and the islands," said weather forecaster from the National Center for Meteorology and Seismology.
He explained that such weather is understandable at this time of the year. According to him, rains are expected by the end of November and until December.
Humidity in the rest of the country is likely to increase in the evening and will settle in Abu Dhabi at the maximum level of 75%, in Dubai - 80%, and in Sharjah - 85% on Friday.
