Dubai will build 580 km of walking and cycling paths

Over the next two years, more than 580 km of pedestrian and bicycle paths will be built in the vibrant areas of Dubai, which should motivate residents and visitors to abandon the use of private vehicles when moving over short distances.

The RTA is also reviewing the use of bicycles in the city. At the second stage, bicycle paths will appear along the entire Jumeirah Beach Road, on Al-Mina, Al-Manhul and next to Dubai Bay. Also, the bike path will be laid throughout the service strip along the main highway to them. Sheikh Zayed.
