The flora and fauna of Abu Dhabi - in photos

Within the framework of the Al Gharbia Watersports Festival, the Abu Dhabi Environmental Protection Agency organized and conducted a photo exhibition dedicated to the wildlife of the capital.

The grand opening of the exhibition took place in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, a representative of the ruler of the emirate of Abu Dhabi in the western region of the UAE, who examined with great interest photographs of the most unusual creatures, plants and marine animals living in the capital's emirate.

At the stand about endangered animals, photographs and detailed information about species such as: spotted bracken - a large slope that lives in the open sea of ​​tropical and subtropical regions were presented; Arabian oryx - an antelope from the genus Oryx, previously widespread in deserts or semi-deserts of western Asia; pink flamingo, persian horned viper, oriental shag and many other animals, birds and reptiles.
