Formula 1 circuit in Abu Dhabi is open to the public

The Formula 1 circuit at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi, where the Emirate stage of The Abu Dhabi Grad Prix Etihad Airways races takes place, is now open to those who want to experience all the delights of racing on a world-class track.

The first group of amateur riders have already tested the track on the island of Yas and, according to the emirate press, were satisfied. Participation in races cost them 1000 dirhams (US $ 272) for the whole day, plus the cost of renting a racing uniform, an additional driver or passenger in the car. Some participants chose to become passengers and, paying 350 dirhams (a little less than US $ 100), gave the opportunity to a professional racer with a breeze to ride them along the highway on the Porsche GTR. Renting a two-seater Formula 1 race car cost 11,500 dirhams (US $ 3,194). Racing sessions for all comers will be held regularly. Various options are presented, including driving training on the racetrack. The choice of cars meets different tastes and skill levels - from the racing versions of the Porsche and KTM XBow, to the Ford SUV and Nissan Sunny.
